Full Spectrum Bluegrass is a lively ensemble that seeks to capture the joy, pain, and complexity of life through the genre of bluegrass.

Drawing upon the iconic driving rhythms that drew listeners to musicians like Earl Scruggs and JD Crowe, Full Spectrum’s debut EP showcases original songwriting that explores the modern queer and urban experience, accompanied by virtuosic instrumentation. Without losing sight of tradition, Full Spectrum redefines bluegrass not as a music from another place and time, a music of belonging.

‘Full Spec’ finds followers in old school bluegrassers, deadheads, country fans, and everyone who enjoys a high energy, passionate live performance. Mandolinist and songwriter Colin ‘CC’ Cosgrove leads the band along with Emily Williams (fiddle), Amelia Mason (banjo, songwriting), Luke Vreeman (guitar) and Bea Riley (bass).

Their repertoire features a diverse mix of originals, bluegrass standards, and the occasional cover from unexpected sources. Full Spectrum has shared the stage with other modern bluegrass acts such as Stockyard Drawl, Slapdash Bluegrass, and Ben Wright and Jon Goldfine of the Henhouse Prowlers. The band’s debut recording, EP Homesick, is set for release in November 2025.
